CORE TEAM
Anthony Bickley LCSP (Phys), RSHom, Cert.Ed.
PRINCIPAL
With a background in banking, Anthony initially trained as an osteopath. He has been practising homoeopathy since the late 1970’s, and has been both Director and Chair of the Society of Homeopaths. He was also responsible for planning and creating the tradition of homoeopathic conferences in the UK. His aims in homoeopathy are:
• To help to develop Graduate homoeopaths who understand and practice the simplicity of homoeopathy, who can relate each case to the principles and who can put those principles correctly into action in their daily work.
• To help practitioners who are willing to doubt, test and challenge the principles with rigour until they become convinced of their efficacy through their own work
• To encourage practitioners to develop their caring skills in such a way as to increase their practices and their incomes to professional levels. His work has been published in various homoeopathy publications throughout the world and he has lectured at conferences and seminars in UK, Denmark, Ireland and USA. When not doing homoeopathy or osteopathy or teaching them he listens (and sometimes sings) to folk, jazz and blues music or scours auction rooms in search of marine watercolours.
Lisa Mansell LBSH MARH
DIRECTOR OF STUDIES
Lisa graduated from the British School of Homoeopathy in 2002 and lives and practises in Gloucestershire. Recently appointed as Director of Studies, Lisa draws on her own experience of juggling family and studying, a life coaching qualification, and a business/marketing background, to support and develop students as they progress towards being a practitioner. This is a broad remit which ranges from discussing subjects that students are finding challenging on an individual basis, to delivering a lecture on setting up in practice to a year group. She enjoys being the first contact for potential students, and being involved in the behind the scenes running of the school. In any free time Lisa’s preferred method of relaxation is hiding from her husband and four children with a glass of wine, a bar of chocolate and a good book!

She lives and practises in Gloucestershire and in her free time enjoys walking her dog, striving to be a domestic goddess and dreaming of far away places.
Ian Webster DSH MARH
LECTURER
My journey with homeopathy began in 1982 with enrolment in an Australian college for homeopathy. At that time however, the quality of homeopathic education in Australia was generally poor. There was a high quality of teaching in medical sciences though and I spent three years extensively studying the medical sciences. Through private study of homeopathy, my passion for it grew. It was time for travel and I was up for anywhere. It took some time to locate overseas colleges and eventually it became clear that England was the place. In 1987, I commenced studying at the School of Homeopathy. After qualification, I practised in a rural coastal area of northern New South Wales for five years and then returned to England in 1997. I have been practising in south Devon since. Twenty five years on, the flame of homeopathy continues to burn strongly for me. Special areas of interest are the Bombay Method of practice; the treatment of asthma and mens health.
